Weekend Training Retreats

Every church that desires to thrust their people out into the harvest fields, needs an evangelism team who are prepared and equipped to minister. Part of our vision at Apostello MTC is to provide training in multiple areas such as children's and street ministry using The Arts. We are prepared to provide the necessary tools to help your local church effectively reach your community and other nations of the world. We will teach and provide you with drama material that will enable you to communicate the Gospel in a simple form but also with great results. The 5 to 10 minutes dramas you will learn are all produced in house and can also be taught to others in your local assembly.

For us to better equip your team for evangelism, we are providing special weekend retreats at our facility where your group can come for at least 2 or 3 days to receive ministry and training. Classes will start on Friday nights at 7 PM until late and then resume at 9 AM Saturday morning for all day sessions. Training will include learning two Apostello produced street dramas which can also be tailored to accommodate your needs for community outreach or mission trips. The weekend schedule will also include personal ministry with times for praise and worship, and evangelism classes. We can also share with you some ideas for children's ministry.

Requirements & Cost

We will be hosting a minimum of two church groups per weekend so we can spend quality time with each group and help your church develop an evangelistic drama team. Each group who attends is required to bring a minimum of 9 to 10 people and if possible there should be an even amount of girls and guys, half and half. Each church will be supplied with an instructional video and a CD with drama tracks when they leave.

The cost for each team member and team leaders is $35.00. This does not include your meals. A kitchen and dining area will be available for your church to use. For those who wish to stay over till Sunday morning, we will provide a Sunday morning service. The price for the entire weekend through Sunday is $45.00.

Mobile Training

If your church youth group is unable to attend one of our Weekend Training Retreats, we are available to travel to your church and spend a weekend or mulitiple days training your church drama team. We will equip them with drama material and depending on the length of our stay, we will help organize an evangelistic outreach. Although most of our training is with youth ministry, we are also available to spend time with any age group from junior high up. We need at least nine people to train your team effectively.
