The Summer Internship Program is a one month training school combined with an International mission trip. Many mission organizations primarily focus on inviting people to participate in their mission trips only. At Apostello Missions Training Center, we feel God has called us to assemble young people for a season of renewal and training in a set apart environment where they can be ignited with a new passion for God and challenged to use their gifts and talents to minister to others. At AMTC we also purpose to provide a family/team atmosphere combined with a boot camp structure.

School sessions usually begins sometime in July and are completed by the second week in August. The first 2.5 weeks are primarily devoted to a spiritual impartation and to prepare and equip our team with tools for evangelism. Besides the morning gathering for praise and worship and teaching, there are also daily classes in Godly character, cultural evangelism, intercession, and children's ministry.

The afternoon schedule is set aside each day for training for street dramas. There are also scheduled times each day that are devoted to learning a children's Vacation Bible School curriculum. Every evening we gather for a period of worship and intercession for the countries we will be visiting knowing that prayer is our life line for true ministry to be released. We always allow our schedule to be flexible to allow God to meet us spontaneously during the morning and evening gatherings. It is during these times we experience the most dramatic changes in our students.

The weekend schedule is filled with opportunities for community outreaches and also special meetings in local churches. During these scheduled events, all students are required to participate as part of their training. We have a lot of fun and exciting experiences as a team every year and God always does significant things for each student who attends.

The Summer Internship program also includes an International mission trip. After the 2.5 weeks of training, we will travel by air to our destination and begin our itinerary of street drama evangelism, children's' ministry, and special meetings in area local churches. During the street outreaches, you will be encouraged to share your testimony publicly, and will also have opportunities to engage in one on one evangelism. Beside performing your dramas at local churches, there will also be times for each team member to provide personal prayer for individuals who respond following our scheduled meetings. There are always great testimonies of so many lives who are touched by God every year.

The day after we arrive back at AMTC, we always save one day to unpack, rest, and share our victory stories. It is also a day to allow the Lord to finish up any remaining ministry that needs to take place before every one is released to return to their homes. The month long Summer Internship ends one day after we arrive back home and we always look forward to the next group God will bring to us.

Student Requirements

All students who express interest in attending the Summer Internship at Apostello Missions Training Center either by recommendation, or as new inquiries, must first complete an application and must be at least fifteen years old. (In some cases, there may be exceptions) Each applicant will be prayerfully considered and put on a first come first serve waiting list. Because we are unable to accommodate and train large teams, not everyone who applies will be chosen to participate until the school can contain a larger enrollment. Please note, that sometimes we have students who suddenly back out which opens a slot for someone else on our waiting list.

Financial Requirements

At Apostello MTC, we are committed to keep our prices budgeted as low as possible for our school and mission trips. Our desire is not to overburden our students with large amounts of money they are required to raise to help pay for their expenses. We purpose to make it easier for those who feel a call to missions and give them a chance to be sent to the nations without unneeded financial pressures. We offer easy pay plans that split up the payments over several months. The price we have budgeted will include all costs for the 2.5 weeks of training, lodging, food, and all the expenses of the international mission trip. Every trip will vary in price depending on the length of training and the location of each country.
